The Distillery

Bombay Sapphire, a favourite among gin aficionados, is an exemplary British icon. Its long history stretches back to the 18th-century, and today the facility is equipped to produce over 100,000 litres of gin per day. The brand’s Hampshire headquarters, Laverstoke Mill, is noteworthy in and of itself. The two intertwining glasshouses that nurture the botanicals were created by British designer Thomas Heatherwick, the innovator behind King’s Cross’ Coal Drops Yard.

Enjoy a guided tour of the facility and its stunning structure, learn more about the botanicals used in the vapour infusion process and test your mixology skills at an interactive gin masterclass. Unwind over a gin and tonic in the estate's relaxed bar. Head back to British Pullman for champagne, a delightful three-course meal and a smooth journey back to London Victoria.

Belmond recommends: Laverstoke Mill is a working distillery, sensible footwear is advised (no heels or open-toe shoes).
