The Crafting of Coquelicot

Designed by Humbert and Poyet, Coquelicot’s ethos captures the very essence of Champagne, combining contemporary furnishings, antique touches and local flourishes. Our spacious bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms house local fabrics in cream, earthy tones and raw materials, in honour of the region’s agricultural heritage. In the master bedroom, fluted features, decadent undulations and sparkling finishes of rose gold pay homage to the grandeur of the Art Nouveau style.

Coquelicot’s namesake, the red poppy, is found in a subtle hand-cut red marble side table and tonal painted petals that line the hallway. The sensational skylight, made using traditional techniques in France, is a celebration of Champagne’s water mapping legacy.
