Dominique Crenn
With a whole new season ahead of us sailing the French waterways in style, we welcome Dominique Crenn as our new Culinary Curator – the Chef and owner of three-Michelin-starred Atelier Crenn in San Francisco renowned for her cuisine, inspired by poetry.
Drawing from her own French upbringing, Dominique will work together with our boats’ chefs in Burgundy, Champagne and in the South of France to craft an entrée, a main course and a dessert for each region we explore. Join us onboard Les Bateaux Belmond to taste her unique recipes, curated with passion and shared amongst you and your loved ones.

Epicurean Burgundy
Embark on a 12-star cruise aboard Lilas to explore the iconic Michelin culinary treasures of Burgundy. Savour curated gastronomic experiences in the region’s finest Michelin-starred restaurants, including Georges Blanc, Paul Bocuse, and La Côte Saint-Jacques.

Fine Dining Aboard
Arise to fresh French pastries and a continental buffet, or hot meals made upon request – these will be the highlight of your morning. Lunch as you like – perhaps a light buffet with crisp green salads, or an alfresco two-course meal. The chef can also prepare a picnic basket for an idyllic moment on shore, the occasion to find the secrets behind his recipes. Each dinner onboard comprises of 4 or 5 courses, prepared with artisanal ingredients sourced from markets en route, served on deck in the warmth of the evening sun.

The Best of French Wines
Your voyage begins with a champagne reception – a taster for the indulgence that awaits. Cocktails, aperitifs and nightcaps, made from traditional bases and fine ingredients, are expertly paired with the finest recipes throughout your journey. Sample vintages developed along the Grand Crus including refreshing Chardonnay’s and Chablis or deep Côtes de Rhône’s and Beaujolais. Each meal is accompanied by such wine, hand-chosen to showcase the region’s vinous wonders.

Are all my meals included?
Table d’hôte meals on board are included in your fare. Continental breakfast, lunch and dinner are enjoyed in the sumptuous surroundings of our Belmond boats’ dining room.
Can the crew book restaurants for me?
Yes. Many Michelin-star restaurants and reputable establishments highlight our itineraries. If there is a particular restaurant or a gastronomy dining experience you would like to book while off the Belmond boat, a member of the crew will be happy to make a reservation for you. Please note this meal will be at your own cost.
Can you cater for special culinary requirements?
We will do our best to cater for special dietary requirements such as vegetarian, vegan or else, provided a detailed request has been made at the time of booking. If a special request has not been made, the chef will endeavour to prepare a dish with the ingredients available on board. The chef will always consult guests about the following day’s menus to cater for diets and special preferences.
