Wellness Pod
Like the pods in the sausage tree above it, the Wellness Pod embodies a cocoon of serenity and calm. With a capacity for only two guests, the pod immerses you in a world of well-being where healing techniques combine with luxuriously nurturing African cosmetics.
At Eagle Island Lodge, wellness is brought into your room with layered experiences like our African Potato Signature Treatment which involves a relaxing full body massage, scrub and deeply moisturizing wrap. Discover some of the most powerful, organic healing ingredients in Southern Africa.

THE WILDLIFE
We offer a wide variety of water-focused game-viewing activities. Whether you choose to venture out by motorboat, on a barge cruise or gliding silently on a wooden mokoro, the breathtaking Okavango Delta is yours to explore. Alternatively, how about a walking safari on a remote palm-fringed island, or the ultimate air safari experience: in an open-sided helicopter?
We're surrounded by abundant birdlife, and you will have the opportunity to spot the elusive Pels Fishing Owl, the majestic Fish Eagle and the brilliantly coloured malachite kingfisher. There are also plenty of larger animals to be found in this area, including elephant, buffalo, hippo and crocodile. Elusive big cats have made this island their home and can sometimes be seen swimming in order to catch their prey.
