CREATIVE ORIGINS
Originally from Caserta in southern Italy, Alessandro Cozzolino trained internationally with Michelin-starred chefs. Drawing from his experiences in Europe and Hong Kong, the Chef has relied on two qualities — passion and dedication. Combining his intuition with personal taste and well-honed skills, La Loggia di San Michele’s menu blends a curation of dishes, where taste and aesthetics move hand in hand.

Focusing on the local terroir and seasonality, ingredients are carefully selected from the land and the sea of Tuscany and prepared with techniques that preserve their freshness and authenticity.
The menu at La Loggia is composed of three tasing menus which are inspired by the personality and biography of the chef, the arts and culture of Florence, and the surrounding nature, respectively.
Feast on signature dishes like ‘Bischeri’ prepared with Bischeri pasta with Livorno cacciucco, Grosseto cuttlefish, Viareggio prawns, lemon balm or the toasted peppers, Casentino grey pig sausage, and fennel used to create the ‘Carnaroli in purezza’.

The team of sommeliers is on hand to provide expert guidance on the wine list of La Loggia's cellar, which features the best Tuscan and Italian wines, as well as an excellent selection of international labels.
