What to do in Camargue?
Experience first-hand the nature that beguiles the region. Spend an afternoon horseback riding at one of many notable riding schools enroute, or perhaps visit the Ornithological Park of Pont de Gau and discover rare bird species native to the wetlands.
To the east of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer lies an expanse of idyllic sandy beaches, largely deserted, and accessible by foot or bicycle. Why not ask your dedicated chef to prepare a picnic for an intimate afternoon by the sea?
Are all my meals included?
Table d’hôte meals on board are included in your fare. Continental breakfast, lunch and dinner are enjoyed in the sumptuous surroundings of Pivoine’s dining room.
Can the crew book restaurants for me?
Yes. Over 14 Michelin-star restaurants and other reputable establishments highlight Pivoine’s route. If there is a particular restaurant in Camargue you would like to book whilst off the barge, a member of the crew will be happy to make a reservation for you. Please note this meal will be at your own cost.
