Days 1, 2 & 3
Vandenesse – Beaune – La Bussiere
A chilled glass of champagne awaits you on board. Meet your dedicated crew and chef and discuss this week’s excursions with your private guide. Settle into your luxurious cabin before your first gourmet dinner is served.
The next morning, Fleur de Lys sails through the heart of the Ouche Valley towards Beaune – Burgundy’s wine capital. You may wish to alight for an afternoon’s meander through the town’s cobbled streets full of medieval charm. Enjoy a private wine-tasting or sample some local delicacies before returning to the barge. Tonight, we dine on board.
On our third day, we travel the waterways to the village of La Bussiere sur Ouche. Within proximity is the Chateau de Pommard, where a private tour of the domain can be arranged. Sample the estate’s finest wines and marvel at the fine art exhibition. Return to the barge for a delightful dinner on board.

Days 4, 5 & 6
Gissey – Vougeot – Dijon
Awake to views of the glorious countryside as we continue to Gissey sur Ouche. In the afternoon, we head to the Abbey de la Bussiere for an exceptional Michelin-starred lunch within the restored building. Afterwards, you may wish to visit the hilltop village of Chateauneuf en Auxois, only a short drive away. Return to the barge late afternoon and relax before another sumptuous dinner on board.
On our fifth day, we take an afternoon drive down the Route des Grand Crus to the charming village of Vougeot. Indulge in a private wine tasting or two before making your merry way back to Fleur de Lys for an exquisite evening feast.
After an indulgent breakfast, we visit historic Dijon. Take a walk through the marketplace, enter the Ducal Palace, or visit the Maille mustard shop. Soak up the city’s vibrant atmosphere and explore at your own leisure. Return to the barge for a delicious lunch before we embark on an afternoon cruise to the heart of town. Savour the views as chef prepares a delicious gala dinner for your final evening onboard.
