Days 1 & 2
Castets-en-Dorthe & Cadillac
Welcome on board. Your dedicated guide and crew usher you on deck with champagne and a selection of hors d’œuvres. Settle into your luxurious cabin, while the chef prepares your first feast of the cruise. Enjoy a spread of vibrant dishes accompanied by fine wines and raise a toast to the start of a sublime vacation.
After a sumptuous breakfast onboard, disembark after an early lunch on board to visit Bordeaux, the bustling city offering a delightful blend of culture, gastronomy, natural beauty and enticing shopping opportunities. Return to Alouette for a lavish dinner and a night cap beneath the stars.

Days 3 & 4
Visit Saint-Émilion & Les Sources de Caudalie Spa
On day 3, we travel to the world-renowned Saint-Émilion vineyards. The prestigious area is home to over 800 Bordeaux châteaux including Cheval Blanc. Enjoy relaxed tastings built around your preferences and private tours of the area. After lunch at a local restaurant, return to the boat for an afternoon river cruise.
On our fourth day, disembark for a visit to Les Sources de Caudalie Spa to enjoy the enriching effects of vinotherapy. This unique spa combines the natural properties of hot spring water with the nourishing power of the vine and grape to offer signature treatments. Feeling refreshed and renewed, return to the boat for a sumptuous dinner.
Days 5 & 6
Visit Château d’Yquem & The Garden of Lilies
After a sumptuous breakfast on day 5, disembark for a private tour and tasting at Château d’Yquem. Set in a quiet location along the French countryside, this 400-year-old establishment produces one of the world’s most coveted sweet wines. Return to Alouette for a lavish dinner and a night cap beneath the stars.
The next day, absorb the picturesque scenery as the barge navigates the final stretch of the canal. After lunch onboard, disembark for Le Temple-sur-Lot, to explore the serene waterlily ponds and luxuriant botanic scenes that inspired Monet’s iconic canvases, at Latour-Mariac. Rejoin Alouette for refreshing aperitifs and a final gastronomic dinner on deck.
