Spirit of the Valley

Step aboard the Andean Explorer in Puno, near Lake Titicaca. Enjoy some time to unwind in your cabin before you head to the bar car for cocktails and canapés.

Later, we'll arrive in beautiful Saracocha where a sumptuous dinner is served.

Step off the train after your meal and prepare for a glittering show in the sky. The constellations above Saracocha are crystal clear and breathtaking. This is where the train stops overnight before departing for Arequipa in the morning.

Rise to catch dawn over Lake Lagunillas—a magical experience. Then enjoy a delicious breakfast on the train. Later, we pause to visit the Sumbay caves, home to fascinating cave paintings estimated to be over 8000 years old.

Return to the train for a delectable lunch as it winds towards Arequipa.

On arrival, we bid farewell as you disembark, either for a panoramic city tour or for your transfer to the airport.

Please note: to explore Colca Canyon, you can opt to leave the train early at Cañahuas.
