Board the train in the Baroque city of Arequipa. Take some time in your cabin and acclimatise to the indulgent atmosphere of the train as you begin your journey towards Puno.

Alight after brunch for a stop at the fascinating Sumbay Caves boasting cave paintings dating back to at least 6000 years ago.

After an exceptional dinner on board, head to the bar car and enjoy a cocktail with your fellow passengers. Tonight we pause overnight in Puno.

This morning we explore Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world. Awake early to catch a breathtaking sunrise, then alight to visit the floating islands of Uros. Lunch will be served on Taquile island.

Canapés and cocktails are served in the Piano Bar as we carry onwards to Marangani for the night.

Wake to a delicious breakfast, accompanied by stunning views as the sun rises over the Peruvian Andes. Step off the train to explore Raqch'i, a one-of-a-kind Incan archaeological site.

All too soon we arrive at Wanchaq station, where it's time to bid farewell to your crew and disembark for your onward travel arrangements.
