Our mountain pathway is a stunning spot to pay homage to Deià´s literary links. At intervals along the beautifully planted route, you´ll spot impressive granite columns which are a creation of our artist-in-residence, Juan Waelder. Each plinth bears the name and profile of one of history's most important poets, including Robert Graves, Gloria Fuertes, Pablo Neruda and Rosalía de Castro.
The path also harbours one of Europe´s biggest sculpture gardens, equally curated by Juan. In harmony with the plants and nature, a variety of sculptures made of different materials like bronze, terracotta, steel, Marés stone, iron and quartz.
Immerse yourself in the island’s expressive identity. Cecilie Sheridan, curator of the hotel’s collection, invented this interactive tour which will guide you through the tranquil village of Deià where you will be introduced to local artists. Learn about the town’s fascinating history and its highly creative population.
