As we’re crafting the future of our new villa in Portofino, we take a look at the past of our unique, storied residence. The brainchild of Florentine architect Gino Coppedè, it blends Neo-Renaissance features with striking, textured details and sumptuous motifs.
An icon in Liguria, Villa Beatrice was born as the ultimate summer escape for Italy’s most illustrious families, where it shaped the idea of Villeggiatura – the leisurely summer holiday concept we cherish at Belmond. Drawing from its history of hosting, Villa Beatrice will, from 2025, welcome a new generation of friends and families for their private summer residence.

What is included in the stay?
Villa Beatrice is your own private summer residence, with everything you desire – that’s why ahead of your arrival, you’ll be in touch with our Guest Relation team to perfect your holiday. Once at the Villa, a dedicated butler will be on site, available 24 hours a day, as well as a private chauffeur service to Portofino, Splendido Mare and Gelateria San Giorgio. During your stay, you’ll have access to an exclusive collection of selected wines, curated by Splendido’s Head Sommelier, and your own chef will also be available to curate Portofino’s finest dining specialties. Amenities from Le Jardin des Rêves Dior Spa at Splendido can also be brought to you for a moment of relaxation perched over the heights of Punta Caiega.
How far is Villa Beatrice from Splendido and Splendido Mare?
The private villa is only a short stroll away from its sister hotels. Please note that guests of the villa also have access to Splendido and Splendido Mare’s facilities – including restaurants, wellness centre, gyms and pool. Guests of Villa Beatrice can enjoy a complimentary chauffeur service between the property and its sister hotels, the iconic Portofino Piazzetta and Gelateria San Giorgio.

We would be delighted to assist you in planning your special occasion in Portofino, be it a wedding, anniversary, or any other life’s celebration. Please note that the Villa is primarily reserved for staying guests, with accommodation for up to 10 people and event capacity limited to 30 people on our panoramic outdoor terrace. Does the Villa offer direct access to the beach?
