Copacabana Palace, a Belmond hotel, and Parley for the Oceans join forces to cast an inspiring spotlight on the beauty and fragility of the oceans. For this special partnership, the iconic Copacabana Palace façade will transform into an open-air gallery, showcasing the exhibit “Oceans. Climate. Life: Celebrating Ocean Beauty”.
The sensitive perspectives of four Brazilian photographers, Rodrigo Thome, Athila Bertoncini, Denise Greco and Paula Vianna, will be reflected across eight windows facing Rio’s Avenida Nossa Senhora de Copacabana. Their images capture the vastness of the seas and the richness of marine life, while an accompanying immersive installation invites observers to reflect on the waste that affects our coastlines.
More than just an exhibition, this initiative highlights the shared mission of The Copa and Parley for the Oceans in raising awareness, driving preservation and inspiring all who pass by to admire, reflect and take action for a more sustainable future.
